Latin America payments, remittances, digital banking, fintech and cross-border payment intelligence across 21 sovereign markets in South America, Central America and the Caribbean. LATAM is a first-class GPIR region: every country below is on the roadmap, and every one is marked honestly as Coming Soon because no LATAM Country Intelligence page has been published yet.

GPIR intends to build a regional LATAM view covering cross-border P2P remittances, diaspora and migration concentration, corridor economics, the fintech ecosystem, payment infrastructure, and regulatory developments across all 20 markets above — the same intelligence layers already scoped for each individual country. None of that regional-level data has been compiled or validated yet, so it is listed here as roadmap topics rather than populated with figures:
CY2025 and YTD 2026 cross-border P2P volume, aggregated only if a supportable methodology exists.
Regional migration and diaspora heat map, sourced per country as pages are built.
Major inbound/outbound corridors across the region (e.g. Mexico–USA, Colombia–Spain).
Regional count of payment fintechs, digital banks, wallets and PSPs.
GPIR will not aggregate individual country figures into a regional total unless the underlying methodology genuinely supports it — a regional number will not be published as a shortcut once countries are researched independently.
This directory reflects the GPIR LATAM roadmap honestly: all 21 countries are shown as Coming Soon because no LATAM Country Intelligence page has been published yet. Countries are grouped by South America, Central America and the Caribbean for navigation only — this does not imply that payment ecosystems, regulation or economic characteristics are identical within a grouping. As countries are researched and published, each will move from Coming Soon to Active using the same reusable Country Intelligence template built for APAC (India, Singapore), so LATAM never needs 21 separate page designs. Mexico, along with every Central American, Caribbean and South American country above, is also cross-linked from the Americas Regional Directory — LATAM remains the sole canonical record for each, and the Americas index never duplicates it.
